Reading Your Receipt

This handy guide will help you to understand the receipt you receive with your Fresh Abundance! delivery.

Beginning Thursday February 8th, we switched to the new cash register system for packing and delivery of boxes. This will accomplish a number of things. You can get your balance either by calling the Division store or calling or stopping by the South store. And for those of you that build your own or add items to your standard boxes you will have a detailed list of what you received. In addition we are working on reducing waste. Before, we printed over 200 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper invoices per week, most (if not all) of which ended up in a recycle bin or trash. We've reduced that to 200+ small cash register receipts. Here's how to read your receipt:

1 - Who we are, what we do and where to send the check.
2 - The Fresh Abundance! staff member that packed your box.
3 - What's in your box.
--If you see a !: that is a comment to you. We will use it if there are substitutions of if we are out of something you ordered.
4 - If you receive a delivery this is how it was billed. It will almost always say "House Charge". This it your charge account with us.
5 - You and your member number.
6 - How the item was paid for. "Charge" is your internal account with us. *Not* a credit card charge.
